Things You Might Find Interesting About Your  Teacher

Although I grew up on the East Coast, Massachusetts to be exact: I have called Michigan my home for more than half my life.  My husband, Bill, and dogs; Magoo and Koda, live not too far from Ortonville in a town called Davisburg.  My son and daughter are graduates of Michigan State, so you know where my heart lies:) This will be my nineteenth year teaching in the Brandon School District. I love teaching in Ortonville.  GO BLACKHAWKS! 

When I’m not at school, there are many things that keep me busy! My favorite thing to do is to spend time learning something new—especially something creative. Maybe YOU could teach me something new this year. Other things I love to do is spend time reading a good book, walking/jogging (trying to jog�) with my dogs and participating in activities with my family. This summer I spent time creating a deck garden, kayaking, bicycling, journaling, reading, and hiking the Canadian Rockies in Banff, Canada. 

 I can't wait to start an exciting new learning adventure with you this year.
