About Me

My name is Lilit Petrosian and I will be your child’s resource room teacher this year. I moved to Brandon High School from Birmingham School District. I currently live in Davisburg, Michigan with my husband and 8 month old daughter. My credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto, a Special Education degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver and I am currently in the midst of completing my graduate degree in Diverse Learner at Regis University in Colorado.

I completed my student teaching at Legend High School in Parker, Colorado working with high school students with autism, learning disabilities and cognitive impairments. I currently hold State of Michigan endorsements in autism, learning disabilities and cognitive impairment. I worked as a behavioral therapist with individuals with autism in Toronto and in Denver for about six years. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, baking, spending time with my extended family, working out and reading.

I am excited about joining the team at Brandon High School and I am looking forward to working with you and helping your child reach his or her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note via e-mail at lpetrosian@brandon.k12.mi.us or call me at (248) 627-1820 ext. 1103.
