About Me

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to say this is my 25th year teaching with the Brandon School District. Over the years I have taught Kindergarten through fifth grades, and K-5 Physical Education.

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have two children. My son Nathan is 17, and my daughter Abigail is 14. Nathan plays baseball for Troy High School, and Abbey plays softball and tennis. We spend a lot of time outdoors and at sporting events.

Parents are a child’s first educator and I believe if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I will be willing to assist you and your child with any education concern or conflict you may have. I am very excited and am looking forward to a great school year!
