Announcements/Important Dates
Absences
When students return to class they must check the Absent Folder for their hour for any handouts, then check in with me. Students and parents can also click on the paper icon next to each assignment in Student Portal for a brief description of each posted assignment.
Students have weekly vocabulary tests. Absent students can view lists in Google Classroom to be prepared for the week's test.

Homework Help 2:30-3:30
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: Drop-in Tutoring in Rm 124. Students do not need to sign up. They just need to bring their work and make sure they have a ride home at 3:30.

About Me
This is my seventh year in Brandon Schools and my fifth year at Brandon Middle School. I am thrilled to be teaching English Language Arts, as I LOVE to read and write! One of my favorite authors is Kristin Hannah.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy many outdoor activities including snowboarding, paddleboarding, and walking. My favorite ice cream is Kilwin's and I'd love to take a road trip visiting as many locations as possible- yum! I have numerous pets and wish I had grown up on a farm.
Parents are a child’s first educator and I believe if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I am willing to assist you and your child with educational concerns or conflicts that you may have. I am excited and am looking forward to a great school year!
