Hello. I am Tammie Mirolli, chemistry teacher at Brandon High School. I started at Brandon in August 2007 teaching Chemistry and AP Chemistry. I graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2006 with a degree in Chemistry and Secondary Education. In 2011, I completed my Masters degree through Michigan State University (Go Spartans!!) in Teaching and Curriculum. Since being at Brandon, I have had my son, Anthony. He currently attends Brandon High School and has been a part of the Brandon community since he was born in 2007, shortly after I started teaching. I am the Brandon High School Science Department Chair, National Honor Society Adviser, and STEM Chemistry teacher.
I have a passion for science. I love teaching and working with students. My goal is to help all students become critical thinkers, while preparing them for their upcoming years at college or in the work force. I believe in classroom collaboration and hard work. We will spend a good deal of time working in the lab and learning how chemistry relates to many things in our everyday lives.
Parents are a child’s first educator and I believe if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I will be willing to assist you and your child with any education concern or conflict you may have. I am very excited and am looking forward to a great school year!
