About Me

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to say this is my 22nd year teaching at Brandon High School.

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. My husband, Mr. Sawyer and I have two children. Our son Steven is 11 and our daughter Julia is 8. Steven plays soccer and football. Julia has been involved in ballet and jazz for several years. We love to be active and enjoy watching sporting events, going golfing, going to movies and playing games as a family. We also love to go on new adventures to different states and countries.

Parents are a child’s first educator and I believe if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I will be willing to assist you and your child with any education concern or conflict you may have. I am very excited and am looking forward to a great school year!
