About Me...

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to say this is my 17th year at Brandon Schools. My father-in-law, husband, and three sons all graduated from Brandon. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and served in the United States Navy.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have three children. We just celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary. Our son Joshua has been married for 13 years (this December) and they have an almost 11-year-old son, Oliver and Teddy just turned 5!  They have twin girls who are 2 1/2-Amelia and Zoe. Our son Tyler is a big sports fan. He is celebrating his 4th wedding anniversary in October with his beautiful wife, Nadia. Our youngest son, AJ has a 12-year-old daughter Lilliana, Charlotte (our bonus granddaughter) is also 12! AJ and his wife, Shayna will be celebrating their fourth-year anniversary in February. Together they have a sweet little one, Penelope, who will be 6  in March.  They have a  beautiful boy, who turned 2 in June, Everett. They will be adding onto their family (and ours) in October. That would make nine grandchildren for us! 😁

I believe parents are a child’s first educator and if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I am willing to assist you and your child with any education concern or conflict you may have.
