About Me

About Me

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to say this is my 3rd year counseling at Brandon High School.

I have worked in both school and clinical counseling settings, focusing most of my attention on children and adolescents. I strongly believe there are unique opportunities in school counseling that clinical counselors miss - mostly that school counselors can assist and regularly help guide more students with both academic and personal needs. With my experience in Community Mental Health, school counseling, and career counseling, I have developed a passion for student well-being, and for career development. I look forward to showing students opportunities to develop his or her goals, and begin planning for a life outside of post-secondary education.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Purdue University (Go Boilers!), and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Oakland University, with a specialization in School Counseling.
