Thank you for visiting the website for Mrs. Madacki's Seminar, Spanish & Computers classes at Brandon Middle School! Parents and students should use this site to keep up to date with what's going on in my classes.  Students should also join my Google Classroom site for each class of which they are a member, and parents/guardians should join Google Classroom through their child's account.

What to do if you are not receiving teacher emails

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

Parents, Students, Subs & Administrators ~ You can click on the links below to see what we are doing any day in class.
Absent? Students, you are expected to keep up with your work even when absent by opening the Daily Slide for your class (see links below), unless you are too sick to work or you are dealing with a family emergency. Students (or their parents) should send me an email if the student has roadblocks to completing their work, the sooner the better, especially if absent longer than 1-2 days. Be sure to regularly check Google Classroom & Student Portal for all your classes.

Parents can also see what I post on Google Classroom Have your student log into each class, and there should be an invitation for parents to join through the student's account. You can see what I post, which is assignments & resources on the Classwork tab, and friendly reminders on the stream. 

Homework Club is in my room every Wednesday, 2:30 - 3:30 pm.  Homework Club is a quiet place to study/do homework. I can help with most homework questions, and I am a certified math teacher. The Homework Club start date is Wednesday, September 13, no need to sign up, just show up. Make sure you have a ride picking you up by 3:30 pm. 

IMPORTANT CHROMEBOOK REMINDERS: Students need to bring their Chromebook fully charged every day. You need to develop a habit to make this happen. Find an outlet where a backpack can sit comfortably. Every night when you charge your phone or brush your teeth, you need to set your Chromebook in your unzipped backpack, and plug it in to charge. Then each morning, unplug, zip up, and go! Every student should bring the charging cord to school every day, in case of emergency. If the Chromebook is lost, not holding a charge, or any other technical problem, please call the middle school or contact our help desk right away at help@brandon.k12.mi.us
