Help Us Reward Our Outstanding Hawks!

At HSE, students have the opportunity to earn Hawk Bucks by being outstanding Hawks! Whether they go above and beyond, help others without being asked, show kindness, demonstarte good citizenship or simply make a positive choice, their hard work can earn them Hawk Bucks to be used at the Hawk Store. 

Once a month, our Hawk Cart will travel around the school, giving students the opportunity to spend their hard-earned Hawk Bucks on fun rewards!

Our first Hawk Store days are October 27th & 29th!

We Need Your Help!

With 560 students at HSE, every student has the opportunity to shop for up to 2 items each month. That means we need approximately 1,120 donated items every month to make sure every student has the opportunity to participate!

We are looking for donations of fun, kid-friendly items such as:

• Squishies & fidgets
• 3D-printed animals and figures
• Candy & snacks
• Stuffies
• LEGO sets or pieces
• Football gloves & sports balls
• Small toys, games & prizes
• Stickers, pencils & fun school supplies
• Other kid-friendly rewards

💙 Every donation makes a difference! Whether you donate one item, a handful of items, or enough to fill a cart, you are helping us recognize and reward our students for being Outstanding Hawks!

 Want to donate? Donations can be dropped off to the main office for the Hawk Store.

Get ready to show your Hawk pride at the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 2nd at 5:30 PM! Harvey-Swanson families, students, and staff are invited to join us and walk together in the parade. If you’d like to participate, lineup begins at 4:30 PM near the baseball fields in town. Feel free to bring your own candy if you’d like to pass some out along the parade route!

Help Us Create Our Homecoming Float!
This year’s float will have a beach theme, and we’d love some extra hands to help plan, decorate, and bring it to life! If you’re interested in helping, please email the PTA at HSEPTA@Brandon.k12.mi.us.

We are not asking families to purchase or donate anything, but if you happen to have beach-themed items you’d like to contribute for the float, we would be happy to put them to use!

Come walk with us, have some fun, and help us represent Harvey-Swanson at Homecoming!

Fall is a busy and exciting time at HSE! Check out our upcoming PTA events, including our first PTA meeting on September 14 at 4:00 p.m. in the HSE Library, Mum Order Pickup on September 17, the Homecoming Parade on October 2, and our Fall Festival on October 16.
