About Me

I am originally from Romeo, Michigan, and graduated from Romeo High School. I graduated from Oakland University in May of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and minors in Language Arts and Mathematics. In 2002, I finished my Masters Degree in The Art of Education at Marygrove College. My husband and I currently live in Dryden with our two sons, David and Luke. David is 18 years old and will start his first year at SC4 this year. Luke is 16 years old and is in 11th grade this year.

As a family, we like to be outside, go camping, watch movies, and spend time with our friends and family.

This is my 23nd year teaching in Brandon Schools. I love my job! I enjoy working with the other teachers in Brandon and the families in Ortonville. I am very proud to be a teacher and I am proud to teach in the Brandon School District. I feel it is one of the most important jobs in the world.
