Hi! I’m Mr. Giustino Carrano, and I’m proud to serve as the Director of Choirs at Brandon School District. Music has been a driving force in my life, and I’m passionate about helping students discover their own musical voice and potential.
I earned my Bachelor of Music in Performance with a duel specialization in Voice & Tuba from The University of West Florida and my Master of Music in Performance with a Secondary in Conducting from Ball State University. I’ve been teaching Choir for 7 years, and am in my second year in Brandon.
My goal as an educator is to instill a lifelong love of music and music making, through an environment built on excellence that is positive and student-centered — where every learner feels valued and challenged. Music education is not only building musical skills, but fostering lifelong work ethic, creativity, and confidence.
