Note: The "Ask the Class" and "Read Course Announcements" buttons in the banner are linked to the forums in the "Course Organization and Logistics" topic. If you delete the "Course Organization and Logistics" topic or hide it from students, the Course Announcements and Ask the Class forums will also be deleted or hidden.

If you chose to hide the "Course Organization and Logistics" topic, you can still allow students to access the forums by clicking the edit button next to each forum and select "make available". This will allow the buttons in the banner to work as expected without showing the topic on the course page.
