WELCOME!
Students requiring supplemental support in reading and writing may meet in small groups several times a week to reinforce literacy skills and concepts such as phonics, spelling, morphology (affixes and roots), fluency, comprehension strategies and writing. Some students may also receive additional "in-class" support in the regular classroom setting. A variety of strategies/programs are used including Structured Literacy Instruction, multi-sensory techniques, the Fundations or Leveled Literacy Instruction (F&P) programs. A variety of data points are used to determine LA support including reading levels, test scores and teacher recommendations.
