Welcome to Braintree Public Schools Tech Services Department.
21st Century learners must master more than the core curriculum to succeed in secondary and post-secondary institutions, as well as in the workplace. Creation and design activities can also benefit from technology infusion and are critical components to the integration of STEM and an understanding of how vocational technology applications apply to the real world. Through grants and infrastructure upgrades, Braintree Public Schools is committed to a multi-prong strategy to dramatically increase student access to technology. Our overarching goal is for every student to have direct access to technology when they need it.

To accomplish our technology access goal, we have implemented a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative for grades 5-12. Our plan seeks to find a balance between the educational benefits of students having ample access to devices with long-term sustainability.
Our district wireless infrastructure is device agnostic in order to support the variety of technologies students may bring from home. Learn more about our recommended resources & programs to improve home network connections
Aspen is a Student Information Management System created by Follett Software. Braintree Public Schools uses Aspen to manage student information including grading, scheduling, and attendance. Parents can log into Aspen to view information about their children.
BPS has rolled out Google Classroom and Google Apps for education, creating staff and student accounts and providing professional development for their effective use.
Braintree Public Schools (BPS) uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.
