The Guidance and Counseling department posts available scholarships on Naviance. You will see a wide range of scholarships listed by upcoming deadline dates. Students are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships for which they meet the criteria. Guidance and Counseling is always adding to this list so please check periodically (winter months typically have the most new additions).
Each year Braintree High School awards local scholarships to a high number of graduating seniors. Last year, we awarded scholarships to approximately 200 graduates (slightly less than half the class). These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of organizations and individuals who continue to support BHS. The criteria for these scholarships vary widely.
We strongly encourage all graduating seniors who intend to pursue postsecondary education (4-year college, 2-year college, preparatory schools or trade schools) to apply. An application is attached, and it should be submitted to the school registrar, Mrs. Archdeacon, by March 18, 2024. Mrs. Archdeacon's office is located just inside house 1, on the right.
