Welcome to the High School Course Catalog. 

This Course Catalog provides information about the wide variety of courses offered.  Please note that individual assignments and grading rubrics may change each semester.  Students will be asked to meet the requirements for each class during the semester they register for the class.  All coursework must be finished within the semester students register for the courses. 

Our General Education classes are Independent Study classes only, meaning students have the flexibility to complete them on their own schedule throughout the week. Every course, at minimum has an assignment due every Friday.  The courses, when taken through IHLA, are accredited through COGNIA!  

If you are interested in being NCAA eligible, please set up a time to meet with the counselor. Many of the courses offered ARE NCAA-certified but it requires careful planning. Please set up a time to meet with a counselor to learn more. You can also see the Initial Eligibility Standards on this document. 

*If your student has an IEP, please contact our high school team so we can connect you with IHLA's Special Education Department. The Special Education courses are not listed separately on this website, but they can be viewed in the document version of our Course Catalog. Special Education services require students to join live, Zoom meetings for specialized instruction. This varies per student, according to their IEP. Please reach out to ihlahighschool@malad.us so we can make sure you are connected with the right team members!
