Here are some quick lessons to get you started playing:
TUNING LESSON
Chords are sets of notes that are played in music. They are the background to voice or an instrument that mimics the voice, like a violin or recorder. In other words a melody which is the set of notes that go along with the lyrics or words of a song are backed up with chords. Chords can be played in many different ways and creating the harmony for a song.
KEY OF G
(THE COWBOY CHORDS)
Here are some lessons (songs) that use basic chords, often called 'The Cowboy Chords'. Each lesson focuses on one song at a time. They are in an order that allows you to learn more easily, starting with slower, easier songs that have simple 4 chords patterns.
KEY OF C

These songs use the same easy chords used to play songs in the key of G, but we use a capo play in a different key.
