Visual Arts

All visual art courses strive to nurture innovative thinking, creativity, problem solving and to improve communication skills.
You do not have to have artistic ability to be successful in our art classes.
The Only REQUIRMENT is to Engage in the Process.

Artistic talent has nothing to do with success.
Just open your mind, apply yourself and learn.  You may surprise yourself.
Art is everywhere and any work is considered art is in the eye of the beholder.

Students will have the opportunity to:

• Create art.

• Describe, analyze, interpret and evaluate art.

• Learn about Art History - understanding a relationship between art and culture. 

• Appreciate Aesthetics - recognizing important features of visual arts and responding to them.

• Exposure to a wide variety of mediums and techniques. Classes in specific art areas are offered for students wanting to learn more about those areas.
