Frandsen Bank & Trust is proud to announce the Orlo A. Balcer Memorial Scholarship for 2025! We are awarding $1,000 scholarships to 25 eligible high school seniors.
Who is eligible: The contest is open to high school seniors in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin who are set to graduate in the spring of 2026, and will attend any post-secondary institution in the fall of 2026. Students must also:
Provide proof of admittance to a post-secondary institution as a full-time student by June 15, 2026.
Be a customer or the dependent of a parent/guardian who is a customer of Frandsen Bank & Trust.
The 2025 Tozer Foundation Scholarship Application is open. Please submit your application using the website link below. First-time applicants will be required to provide financial information. As a reminder, the scholarship is renewable for up to four years. You must renew your application each year. The scholarship does not automatically renew.
Award amount: $2,750

As part of our commitment to youth volunteerism and higher education, Tusen Tack offers a scholarship opportunity to graduating seniors (homeschool, high school, GED) who have volunteered at a minimum of 40 hours in one or more of our Tusen Tack Programs during their high school years (9-12 grades).
The Chisago County Farm Bureau is offering up to (3) scholarships of $1000 each to graduating seniors in Chisago County. (This scholarship has been increased from the previous $500 award to encourage more students to pursue education in an agricultural field) Recipients will be invited to attend the County Annual Meeting Dinner in September.
ELIGIBILITY: To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:
• Complete and submit application (with short essay) to Chisago County Farm Bureau by deadline.
• Be a graduating senior of the current year.
• Be a current resident of Chisago County or attend a High School located within Chisago County.
• Be pursuing a post-secondary education in an agriculturally-related field at an accredited institution.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a reference (no friends or relatives).
DUE DATE: March 1st, 2025 (11:59 PM on 3/1/26 to be considered)

Be graduating from high school in spring of 2026
Accepted into a two or four year post-secondary educational institute in the fall of 2026
It is preferable that the student is a relative of a Veteran
The Catch a Break!® Scholarship Program was established to assist highly motivated Minnesota residents who have faced challenges in life and learned from them, and are now enrolling for the first time in post-secondary education. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited public four-year college or university in Minnesota for the entire academic year. Scholars must live on campus their freshman year and cannot work during their freshman year. (We want you to focus on academics and the college experience.)
We have 15 new scholarships available each year. All scholarships are renewable, up to $11,000 per year, up to four years.
We welcome your application if:
You have faced challenges in your life and learned from them
You are highly motivated and know why you want a college education
Must be a MN Resident as defined by your 4-year public (not private) college or university in Minnesota.
Your composite ACT score is 24 or higher
Your GPA is 3.0 or higher
You will be 21 years of age or younger when admitted as a freshman
Your family’s household income shows significant financial stress/challenges in paying for your college education. Award amount determined after consideration of all sources of financial aid
Eligibility Requirements:
To apply for the ICBYR Scholarship, the applicant must be one of the following:
A military service member or veteran who lives in or has their duty station in Isanti County, or has Isanti County as their home of record if they are active duty.
The legal spouse of an eligible military service member or veteran.
A child of an eligible military service member or veteran
Applicant must have participated in fine arts program(s) (i.e. Musical, One Act, Theater, Band, Choir).
This scholarship is for a Braham Area High School student who plans to attend college and enter the education field. One $500 scholarship will be awarded and paid up passage of the PRAXXIS exam or the equivalent exam to gain your teaching license.
This scholarship is for students who attend Braham High School but live outside of city limits in one of the following townships: Maple Ridge, Stanchfield, or Grass Lake. Donald F. Olson and family valued involvement in school activities and when this scholarship was established, felt that students who lived in rural areas had a more constraints on participating due to transportation, farm chores, etc. This scholarship focuses on school participation and values learned by being a "country kid".
This form includes three of our local scholarships that are selected by a Braham High School committee. Please use this form to apply for the following scholarships:

Gary Johnson Scholarship - $1,100
Gene and Phyllis Nelson Educational Scholarship - $1,000
The Jim and Phyllis Londgren scholarship is for Braham Area High School seniors who have been accepted and plan to attend a college/university or technical school. The award of $1,500.00 will be given to the student selected by members of the Londgren Family.

This award is open to all graduating Braham High School Seniors; preference is given to the child of a member of the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, Women’s Auxiliary, or Junior Auxiliary, but may be given to any deserving student.
Eligibility Requirements:
Braham Area Committee for Kids is an organization that raises funds to help support local students. This year it is our honor to offer two $2,000 scholarships to students who attend Braham Area Schools.
• Applicants must be a Braham High School Senior who plans to further their education.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Zach Dahlman is a former graduate of Braham Area High School who was not only very involved in extracurricular activities but also in volunteering in his community. In the spirit of giving back to the community, Zach is offering a $500 scholarship to students who have found value in volunteering.
Federated Co-op will be giving out two $1,000 scholarships this year to students who meet the following criteria:
Braham High School Senior
Federated Co-ops, Inc. member or current employee
Financial need a factor in consideration.
Student must enroll in a two-year or four-year accredited college. Educational focus being
Agronomy, Energy, Retail, or a service industry is preferred. (i.e., mechanic school)
East Central Energy will award four $1,500 scholarships to Braham Area High School seniors whose parents are ECE members.
Criteria:
Braham High School Senior
ECE member or son/daughter of an ECE member
Our 20th annual scholarship opportunity, now $2,000, is open to any graduating high
school student who will be attending any post- secondary school in the Fall of 2026.
• Applicants are not required to be members of the Rush Lake Improvement Association.
• Applicants are not required to be Rush Lake residents.

East Central Minnesota PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) is an all-volunteer organization that provides support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning persons (and those who are perceived to be), their families and friends by being a visible presence in communities across the five county region of east central Minnesota.
Our scholarship program awards $500 scholarships to LGBTQ+ seniors enrolled at high schools located within the five-county region of east central Minnesota (Kanabec, Isanti, Chisago, Pine, Mille Lacs). We also award $500 scholarships to a first-year LGBTQ+ student enrolled at either Pine Technical and Community College or Anoka Ramsey Community College (Cambridge Campus).
Alexis Ann Hasser was just 18 years old when she lost her life following an automobile accident on March 10, 2018. Alexis was a senior at Braham Area High School, just months away from graduation. She had an She loved playing sports, especially basketball. Alexis was a friend to everyone, she was not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. She had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. She was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of so many people around her. In 2018, a group of family and friends created this memorial scholarship. An award of $1,000 will be made to a deserving area high school student this May who will be attending college or university this Fall.
Applicant Eligibility:
The member must be a college bound high school senior at the time of application from one of the following school districts of Minnesota: Aitkin, Braham, Cambridge Isanti, East Central, Hinckley, Isle, Milaca, Mora, North Branch, Ogilvie, Onamia, Pine City, or Rush City.
The applicant will be attending college for the first time in the fall of 2026.
The applicant will be enrolled in either a two or four-year accredited educational institution.
The applicant should be studying either a Social Work or Psychology major
The applicant agrees to use any scholarship funds awarded for tuition and/or fees only.
Each year the Frandsen Family Foundation provides ALL Braham High School Seniors the opportunity to access two years of free tuition for those wanting to attend a state technical college. An additional $1,000 is also available for books, tools and supplies.
Eligibility:
Must be a Braham Senior
Must complete the FAFSA for the current year.
Must be enrolled in a non-associate of arts program through a pre-approved technical college.

Be a member of a high school trap shooting team, or have a family member who is a member of the BSC.
