Who Am I and Where am I from?
I'm Joseph VanAlstine and I grew up in Rush City Minnesota. I graduated from Rush City Schools in 2017. During my time in school I focused on my studies as well as playing football, basketball, and baseball.

Growing up I lived with my dad (Robert) and my grandpa (Bob). We lived on a small farm out of town with a few cows and miniature ponies!

I left the small town of Rush City and moved to Marshall Minnesota. This is where I attended and graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University.
During my free time I enjoyed playing sports, like basketball and spike ball. I also enjoy getting together with friends, going to new Marvel movies, and watching every football game I can.

What Am I looking forward to Most This school year?
I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade in Braham! This is going to be an amazing year! I am looking forward to connecting with everyone including my fellow teachers while also getting involved within this great community.
