And here is the answer to "when am I ever going to use this" question that gets asked daily to us teachers!

This semester students participated in the real-market "How the Market Works" online stock market portfolio game as part of Mrs. Shipley's Personal Finance class. Chance Chandler was our BIG winner for this semester! In just five short weeks Chance took his portfolio from $100,000 beginning investment balance to over $113,000! These were real-time investments that were reflected in the real-time market (it was just not real money....sad day). As the winner of the Fall 2022 Stock Market contest, Chance won $50 (real money) and a miniature bull reflecting the hope and prosperity of our economy. Way to go Chance!
