I have been blessed to work at Walker Valley High School since the fall of 2004. Most of my years have been spent in the classroom as a 9th grade math teacher. This year I have the privilege of serving ALL our students and staff here in the Media Center. I am passionate about helping others and making sure those who walk through our doors feel welcomed and valued. I am married to Bo Borders who also works here at Walker Valley as the Attendance Director. We have two wonderful sons who are in different stages of life but keep us very busy. We wouldn’t have it any other way. If you don’t find me at a sporting event, you’ll find me reading! (Shhh…sometimes I even read AT sporting events.)
I am a Walker Valley alumni, and I am so excited to be back! I graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre. I worked in the Mitchell Memorial Library and the William G. Squires Library during college. Outside the library, I enjoy going for coffee, spending time with friends and family, and finding ways to be creative! I absolutely love to read! Stop by and see me for your next great read!
