Grades 9 through 11 - May 15-16, 2024 (More Details Coming Soon)
Details
Students will be called by group to return Chromebooks on the due date.
Students must return: Chromebook, case, and charger
Students will be charged for missing items and for any repairs that aren't covered by insurance.
Be Proactive
If your Chromebook needs a repair, bring it to the media center ASAP.
If you know you are missing something, make payment for missing items (Prices Change - Last Updated 04/28/2023):
Chromebook=$275
Case=$25
Charger=$22
Before the return date:
Remove stickers from your Chromebook, including webcam
Clean out the case
Put case strap in the case pocket
Pet fur everywhere in the Chromebook case? Vacuum and Febreeze the case.
Download Your Files
Need to keep a copy of those fantastic notes or essays from a class? Use Google Take-Out on your personal device or with your personal Google account to copy down the Google products that you want. Download files before May 31st of the year you graduate.
Be aware that files in your "Shared with Me" will not transfer unless you move them into your Drive. Move anything in "Shared with Me" to your Drive, if it's something you want to keep.

WVHS Tech Squad
Is your Chromebook doing odd things or maybe even broken? Drop by the media center for support or to borrow a daily loaner. Daily loaners must be returned by 3:25 PM. If you have a loaner and are checking out, return it before leaving campus.
Our WVHS Tech Squad team members diagnose and repair Chromebooks and assist with other technology projects throughout the school.

Do you enjoy problem-solving? Are you able to work as a team and also learn on your own?
Are you able to conduct your own research--reading forums and viewing instructional videos to troubleshoot problems? Do you see projects through to completion?
Would you like to earn Dell TechDirect certification and get experience repairing devices?

Important Dates
Distribution Starts Week of August 7
August 8-9 - MAP teachers check for the two required forms. Chromebook insurance can be paid.
August 10 - Chromebook distribution in auditorium. Students called by grade and name (e.g., Seniors A-C). Students must have WVHS ID and the two required forms.
