A circuit is a complete path around which electricity can flow. It must include a source of electricity, such as a battery. All of the lighting on the Greenway must have closed circuits to work!
Friction is the resistance of motion when one object rubs against another. Anytime two objects rub against each other, they cause friction. Friction works against the motion and acts in the opposite direction. When sliding at the Greenway, the clothing you wear can cause more or less friction!
The water cycle is the continuous journey water takes from the sea, to the sky, to the land and back to the sea. The movement of water around our planet is vital to life as it supports plants and animals. The Greenway's flowing creek sometimes dries up due to evaporation and little rainfall!
The digestive system consists of the parts of the body that work together to turn food and liquids into the building blocks and fuel that the body needs. All of the movement on The Greenway causes the digestive system to really work, so it is great there bathrooms spread throughout the path!

A habitat is the home of an animal or a plant. Almost every place on Earth—from the hottest desert to the coldest ice pack—is a habitat for some kinds of animals and plants. There are variety of habitats along the path of The Greenway.
Exercise is physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning the body. Exercise consists of cardiovascular conditioning, strength and resistance training, and flexibility. The Greenway has many exercise opportunities!
