1. Copying Items
Select the Text or Item: First, highlight the text or item you want to copy.
Copy: Press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy the selected item to the clipboard.
2. Viewing Clipboard History
Open Clipboard History: Press Windows Key + V on your keyboard. A small window will appear showing the items you've recently copied.
3. Pasting Items from Clipboard History
Choose an Item: Click on any item in the clipboard history window to paste it where your cursor is currently placed.
Pasting: The item you clicked on will be pasted into your document or text field.
4. Clearing Clipboard History
Clear Clipboard: If you want to clear the entire clipboard history, click on the "Clear all" option at the top of the clipboard history window.
5. Pinning Items to the Clipboard
Pin an Item: If you want to keep a specific item in your clipboard history for future use, click on the small pin icon next to that item. This will ensure it stays in your clipboard history even if you clear other items.
6. Disabling Clipboard History
Turn Off Clipboard History: If you prefer not to keep a history of copied items, you can disable clipboard history by going to Settings > System > Clipboard and toggling off the clipboard history option.
Clipboard history is limited to 25 items. Older items will be removed as new items are copied.
Clipboard history is also synced across your devices if you're signed in with the same Microsoft account.
