There are 12 known/major Greek gods in Greek mythology known as Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Apollo, Dionysus, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Demeter, and Hades. They all symbolized different things like Athena is the Goddess of wisdom, and Ares is the God of war. People believe that the god's homes are located at the top of Mount. Olympus. There are Greek myths that have been passed down generations. Some Greek myths are even told to this day in liture or film, like Theseus and the Minotaur. All Greek myths have some type of monster that the hero later murders. - Naomi Barillas Medina
