On 22 April 2024, a meeting was held with the Director.
One of the key issues on the agenda was to highlight the achievements made in the framework of the Career Centre's work plan.
It is gratifying to note that, given the relatively short period of operation of the structural unit, a significant amount of tasks has already been completed and a solid foundation for further activities has been laid.

Teaching is a profession that requires continuous professional development! Professional development centres provide effective assistance in this regard.
On 17.04.2025, a study tour to the Centre for the Professional Development of Teachers of the Balta City Council of Odesa Region was held for representatives of graduating groups.
Tkach S.M., Director of the institution, revealed the purpose, main tasks and areas of work of the institution.
Iryna Ivanova, consultant on educational work, extracurricular education, physical education and sports and mass work; and Olha Terletska, consultant on preschool education, provided more detailed information on certain aspects of the Centre's activities.

"Teachers: Modern Labour Market Demands" is the topic of today's meeting, which was held in the form of a professional dialogue between practicing teachers, teachers who train future specialists in primary education and graduates of the Pedagogical College who will soon embark on their professional path. The interaction proved to be not only interesting but also productive.
Together, we analysed the current state of the professional market and identified the state's great demand for teaching staff, based on different professional perspectives, defined the model of a modern primary school teacher and summarised the prospects and challenges of the teaching profession.

13.03.25 Viktoriia Shchur, Head of the Career Centre, a structural unit of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College, took part in the presentation of the project ‘BizON - promotion, transformation and inclusive development of business education in selected regions of Ukraine’.

The project is implemented by the Centre for Public Expertise in cooperation with the Odesa City Council and the All-Ukrainian Professional Association of Entrepreneurs.
They support the idea: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, the Government of Japan within the framework of the project "Transformative Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine".
The initiative is aimed at establishing an effective dialogue between local authorities, businesses and educational institutions to develop quality curricula that meet modern challenges.
On 20.02.25, a meeting was held with Svitlana Mazur, director of the NGO "Ladushki".
The main goal is to establish professional communication within the framework of the JV Career Center.During the meeting, we discussed possible directions and prospects for our further activities.
It is pleasant to note that the NGO "Ladushki" is a long-term and reliable partner of our educational institution.

On February 14, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Balta Department of the Podil Branch of the Odesa Regional Employment Center.

One of the primary tasks of the Career Center is to carry out career guidance activities.
To this end, on February 11, 2025, a visit was made to the Sarazhyn Lyceum of the Balta City Council of the Odesa Region.
We had the opportunity to talk to students of grades 9 and 11 about their future professional choice, worked to popularize the specialty and specializations offered at the College, told about the peculiarities of admission and the numerous advantages of studying at the institution.
On January 29, 2025, Kateryna Podufalova took part in the VET Career Centers Reunion event, which is a continuation and final event of the VET Career Centers workshop held in Warsaw.
Thanks to the participation in the workshop “Career Centers: Best Practices and Experience of the United States” Municipal Institution “Balta Pedagogical Professional College” became the first among pedagogical vocational colleges in Ukraine to open a structural unit “Career Center”.
During the meeting, all participants shared their achievements and progress over the past 6 months.
Kateryna Podufalova presented the college's achievements in the creation and operation of the center, in particular: team formation, opening of the center, determination of the main areas of work, activities and plans for the future.
Participation in the VET Career Centers Reunion was an important step for the further development of the Career Center of the Baltic Pedagogical Vocational College, exchange of experience and implementation of best practices in the field of education.

On January 28, the head of the Career Center met with the Student Council of the College. The main goal was to discuss promising areas of productive cooperation.

On December 3, the Career Center organized a sightseeing tour for freshmen. Group 12, headed by curator Maksym Chorba, visited a reading lesson in the 1st grade of the structural unit of the BPFC.
The main purpose of the excursion was:
familiarization of freshmen with the activities of a primary school teacher;
peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in primary school;
revealing the social significance of the chosen profession and its main differences;
motivation for future professional activity;
stimulating the desire for personal and pedagogical development;
formation of professional interest.
The students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the structure of the lesson, forms, methods and teaching techniques used by the teacher. Information and illustrative, problem-solving, search methods, principles of connection with life, accessibility, frontal and group forms of work allowed students to develop general cultural, educational, cognitive, informational, communicative, and reading competencies.
The lesson was followed by an active discussion of the most important aspects of teaching under martial law.
Students noted the excellent material support provided by the college and were impressed by the teacher's creative and modern approach to teaching.
The applicants for education noted the professionalism of the teacher, the high level of pedagogical skills, the excellent awareness of first-graders, their desire to learn and concluded that learning can really be interesting and exciting!
The excursion helped students to better understand the benefits and prospects of working as a teacher.

Career guidance work of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College: helping to choose the future! Our Pedagogical College actively conducts career guidance work in schools to help students make a conscious choice of profession.
On November 29, college teachers Antonina Shturba and Volodymyr Shturba visited schools in the villages of Sabatynivka, Danylova Balka, Lozuvata in the Golovanivsky district of Kirovohrad region. At the meetings with 9th and 11th grade students, they spoke about the peculiarities of studying at the college, the quality of education, professional teaching staff, the possibility of individual development, etc.
Today's choice of a student is the future not only for him or her, but also for our society. We strive to inspire young people to choose a profession that will bring them pleasure and help them develop themselves and others. Every year, we enroll dozens of students who learned about our college during such meetings. They become successful teachers who work with love in schools, kindergartens, health centers and other educational institutions. We invite you to study at the College of Physical Education and Sports.
On November 29, students of the Chornianske Support Lyceum made an interesting and informative excursion to the Balta Pedagogical Professional College.
The main purpose of the trip was to familiarize themselves with the educational opportunities and prospects of studying at the institution.
During the meeting, members of the college's admissions committee Kateryna Podufalova and Vira Pecharska told the students in detail about the admission requirements, specifics of educational programs, opportunities for student development, employment prospects and organization of student life. The lyceum students also learned about the peculiarities of this year's admission campaign and received answers to all their questions.
The students had the opportunity to visit the library, digital education center, classrooms, student dormitory and canteen.
The visit to the college helped the students to better understand the prospects of teacher education and may have become the first step towards choosing their future profession.
We thank the lyceum administration, headed by the principal Vita Lungu, for their long-term cooperation, initiative and desire to help the school students choose an educational institution for further education!
On November 27, 2024, a meeting with stakeholders of the educational and professional program “Primary Education” of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education was held at the Balti Pedagogical College.
Kateryna Podufalova, Head of the Bachelor's Educational and Methodological Laboratory, introduced the invited guests to the scientists, teachers and members of the college administration.
DRAHANYUK Olena - Director of the Bendzariv Lyceum named after T. P. Bodnar of the Balta City Council of Odesa Oblast, developer of the EPP “Primary Education”;
CHEBAN Nataliia, Director of the Nemyrovsk Lyceum named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Ivan Kuras, Balta City Council, Odesa Oblast;
DEMESHKEVYCH Volodymyr, psychologist at the Sinnia Gymnasium of the Balta City Council of Odesa Oblast;
Olena Kravchenko, primary school teacher at the Bilyn Lyceum of the Balta City Council of Odesa Oblast.
Every year, the material and technical base of the college, the learning and living conditions of students are improving, new laboratories and digital centers are being opened, new departments are emerging, and various projects are being implemented. That is why, during the tour of the educational institution, stakeholders were able to make sure that there were safe shelters, visit the primary education department, where 1st and 2nd graders are currently studying, attend a didukh-making workshop, visit the student dormitory, physical therapy room, choreography room, shower and laundry rooms, and the invincibility point.
The meeting culminated in a discussion of the Primary Education Program, which took place in a new classroom, the Digital Education Center.
The guests were welcomed by Antonina Shturba, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between educational institutions of the Balta community in such difficult conditions that our country is currently experiencing.
Vira Pecharska, head of the educational and production practice, highlighted the most important aspects of pedagogical practice. Pedagogical practice is the area of activity that has the closest connection with the Balta Community School of Education.
Valentyna HONCHARUK, Head of the Methodological Cabinet, spoke about the scientific achievements of students and teachers, close cooperation between the ZZSO and the college within the framework of the Innovative Educational Hub.
The areas of educational, trade union and volunteer work at the college were analyzed in detail by Tetiana Prytulyak, Deputy Director for Humanitarian Education and Training.
Coordinator Victoria Shchur reported on the creation of a new structural unit “Career Center”, its main goal and objectives.
Valerii Ivanov, a practical psychologist at the college, gave specific examples and activities that are carried out at the college to support the mental health of both students and employees.
A prominent place during the meeting was occupied by the discussion of real ways and means of improving the Primary Education Program. Thus, each of the participants expressed their own views on the content of the educational program, the list of basic and elective educational components, and their structural and logical scheme. Particular attention was paid to the content of the disciplines of the professional training cycle, and proposals were made to supplement the educational components with meaningful modules, including work with school documentation, a detailed study of regulatory documents in the field of primary education.
As a result of the meeting, specific proposals were developed that will contribute to the improvement of the educational and professional program “Primary Education”. All comments and recommendations will be taken into account when updating the EPP, which will ensure its compliance with modern educational challenges, employers' requests and standards for training primary school teachers.
The event has become a platform for constructive dialog between the college and stakeholders. Such cooperation allows not only to improve the quality of training of future specialists, but also to strengthen partnerships between educational institutions of the Baltic community.
At the end of the meeting, the guests noted the high level of preparation of students for work in real school conditions, the professionalism of teachers and students, as well as the importance of integrating the latest approaches to teaching and education in the modern educational reality.

On November 20, 2024, we had the opportunity to visit the Ladushki Development Center with undergraduate students.
The instructors and methodologists of the center acquainted us with the material and technical base, the areas in which educational services are provided, and the requirements for candidates for employment. The applicants attended developmental classes for preschoolers, classes in logorhythmics, English, and got acquainted with a wide variety of clubs (violin, tennis, etc.).
Excursions to potential workplaces are implemented within the framework of the Career Center's work plan, one of the tasks of which is to work closely with stakeholders and provide assistance and support to applicants in choosing a job.
