Republic Act No. 1425, also known as the "Rizal Law", requires all educational institutions in the Philippines to offer courses about Jose Rizal. The law requires courses on the life, works, and writings of Rizal, particularly his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. The law also authorizes the printing and distribution of Rizal's work.

His Hobbies and Talents
In June 1869, Rizal was brought to school in Binan. It was the school of Maestro Justiniano Aquino Cruz.
From 1872 to 1877, Rizal studied at Ateneo Municipal, formerly known as Escuela Pia, and took up a six-year program, Bachiller de Artes.
In 1877, Rizal enrolled in the University of Santo Tomas taking the course on Philosophy and Letters.
It can be described as an exceptional firsthand document of the real struggles faced by the Filipinos at the end of the 19th century. It was used to expose the country's social and political problems while also serving as a metaphor for his battle.
It is written in Ghent, Germany in 1891 and several other languages. He wrote the book in dedication to the three martyred priests, which was intended to assert his view that their deaths were unfair.
