Students may interact with teachers via Google Meet video conferencing. Parents can control camera access and monitor how their child participates in video conferencing. Remember, you are a Burlington student at all times, even when learning has moved online. If you participate on any Google Meet please be aware of your behavior, dress, and background when on the session with teachers and peers. 

This is a great way to share a video or presentation during a Google Meet. 

• Have the video open/paused in a separate Chrome Tab

• Click Present Now

• Click A Chrome Tab

• Click on the Tab containing the video from the list (Share a Chrome Tab)

• Click Share

• There is a small box at the bottom that should already be checked and says Share Audio. 

• We also suggest having students mute their mics so that there isn't any feedback while the video plays.

Kami is a free Chrome extension that allows you to annotate PDFs, Google Docs, and Google Slides in Chrome. Combine with Screencastify for recorded instructional videos all in Chrome. 

Chrome Canvas is a digital whiteboard that offers simple annotation on a blank screen or over an image. All creations can be downloaded as an image and shared. 

Google Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that offers a more robust and collaborative experience for students and teachers. Share a Jam and everyone can collaborate anytime, anywhere. Jamboard is available in your Google account and as an app for iPad.

You can even use your iPad for annotating or as a second screen in Meet!
