Remote Learning

Teachers will communicate with students and families through Seesaw, Google Classroom, email, or video. Communication can help students feel connected and sustain relationships during a time of isolation.

Deeper learning activities and options. Go beyond the regular structure of standards and curriculum. Expand learning opportunities to focus on creativity, reading, exploration, and choice.

Consider the process, product, and resources in activities to ensure all students can participate in some way. Students are using different devices and have access to different resources at home. Consider how activities can enrich the learning of students and engage exploration and creativity. Reading, writing, and math practice should be emphasized.

Consider the emotional needs and challenges facing students (and families) during this unprecedented time. The Burlington High School Counseling Department has created a community resource list for emotional health.
