Welcome to 8th grade ELA! I'm so excited to get to know each and every one of you.

ELA Update:

Students are making a smooth transition to eighth grade as they acclimate themselves to new routines and expectations. We are beginning the year with several short stories that focus on the importance of families and our role(s) in our families. We have also begun reviewing the elements of good writing which will lead to writing several five-paragraph essays which will show student learning of the texts we will be reading in class.
