This week, we did alot with drones. We took out the Mavik DGI drone and flew it outside and took a couple pictures with it. But we need to learn some legal drone safety. For example, we are not allowed to fly the drone above 400 ft since it risks aircrafts that fly above us. Mr Wong also showed us his raybans recording glasses which were pretty cool and allowed us to record everything we see. We also got to see pepper in action and got to make it talk.

My name is Sulaiman Zai and I'm a senior at Burlington Highschool. I have a passion in AI and Mechanical Machines. I learnt alot about how AI works in the last summer, learning and developing a model to sort out exoplanets from non exoplanet objects. I have taken this class before and really enjoyed it, I would love to get updated on what new technologies this class might have to offer. I also love Mr. Wong's interactive teaching style and positive personality that always makes me want to learn more.
These few weeks we played with the Tello drones and captured some footage. The drones were more for educational matrerials and were programmable however being old, the drones had some problems with drifting away even without the pilot moving the drone. Another interesting drone we flew was the Avada; its a DGI drone that flies surprisingly fast and is controled by wearing goggles and moved using an odd controller. We also did a couple introductory lessons in Delightex which is the rename of CoSpaces. I prefer the older name but aside from the name change, nothing else seemed to be different.

We did alot of game design this week. Personally, Me and Logan worked together on the unity essentials pathway. We learnt alot about how physics in unity worked. For example, we made a bedroom with balls that interacted with ramps and broke blocks. We also learned photoshop and did alot with tools like smart selection tool and the marching ants to properly select what we wanted

For CSED week, me and logan made a demonstration slideshow of how to make a screw in OnShape. We made the presentation in hopes of teaching people how to make stuff with CAD. We used the extrude tool, helix tool, and the sweep tool to create the screw. It is also challenging since viewing the models from different angles is wonky on the Ipad.
We also had a guest speaker, Mr Miner, speak about his experience about game design and how his experience had alot of ups and down. He mentioneed that gamedesign is his "way of life" and not a job. He combined his passion to earn money using it.
