Science Class!

Hello! My name is Gina DeSimone, and I am very excited to be your science teacher this year. This is my 9th year teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and love every second of teaching! I look forward to learning about you! But first, I would like to introduce myself...

EXPERIENCE:

I have taught middle school science for 8 years. During that time I have also taught advisory, computers, and language arts. This is my 7th year in Batavia. 

EDUCATION:

Illinois State University: Middle Level Education Degree with a Science Endorsement.

Olivet Nazarene University: Curriculum and Instruction Masters with an ESL Endorsement. 

HOBBIES: 

I enjoy being active such as swimming, biking, hiking, and playing pickleball. I also love to read, bake, visit museums, travel, and spend time with my triplet siblings.
