Career and Tech Ed

Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.

In school year 2015-2016, according to the U.S. Department of Education:

• 99 percent of Illinois CTE high school students graduated

• 97 percent met performance goals for technical skills

• 78 percent of Illinois CTE postsecondary students met performance goals for technical skills
