1. Choose to read at least one book over the summer. Be prepared to write about it in the first week of school.
2. Also, study one area of history that fascinates you, and bring in notes from two articles you read on the subject for the first day of class. You don't need to print and bring in the two articles, but be prepared to create a short presentation about the event.
