This is my 17th year teaching, and I have been so thankful to be here in Birmingham for all of my years. I have been married for over 15 years to my awesome husband and we have 4 wonderful kiddos and 1 loveable dog.

I attended Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) and received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology and my Secondary Education Teaching Certificate. I also obtained my Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State, so as you can see - I am a Spartan through and through!

I love hanging out with my family and friends, traveling, cheerleading (I coach my daughter's youth cheer team and I've been judging competitive cheer competitions for 13 years) reading, watching movies, taking walks, swimming in the lake and bike riding!
