Derby Girls Tennis is a program run by the Birmingham Racquet Club. 6-8th grade girls can join the team and participate in competitions. All skill levels are welcome and will be placed in teams of the appropriate level via a tryout. Tennis operates as an interscholastic sport in which athletes of all grades usually practice every day at the Birmingham Racquet Club. However, only 7th and 8th grades will compete against other schools.
All practices and tryouts take place on the Kenning Tennis Courts in Birmingham, next to the Birmingham Racquet Club.
Parent Meeting will be held Thursday evening, 9/4 at 5:30 in the Derby Cafeteria
First day of tryouts will be held Monday, 9/8
