Mondays - Thursdays
Location: West Maple Elementary
Times: 9:00AM-12:00 PM
Program Details & Expectations
Remediation of skills from the previous academic year
Engaging daily lessons
All sessions are in-person
Students must attend the full session
Instruction provided by certified teachers
Transportation is not provided
Students currently in Grades K-4
Registration is closed.

Dates: June 21-July 15
Mondays - Thursdays
Location: Berkshire Middle School
Times: 8:30AM-12:00 PM
*No session on July 5
Safety protocols
Small class sizes will be capped at 12 students
Masks will be worn by all students and staff
BPS social distancing protocols will be maintained
BPS lunch/snack safety protocols will be maintained (6 feet social distancing)

K-4 Reading Program
More information about the Kids Read Now program will be provided by each school, including dates and times for a family kick-off event. This program is fully funded by the State of Michigan Early Literacy Grant.

Enrichment & Jump Start
Programming for Identified Students
Some schools that receive additional funding through the federally-funded Title I grant will have summer programs for identified students. Registration by invitation only.
Berkshire: Three-week Summer Enrichment program focused on literacy and career exploration.
Greenfield: Summer Jump Start program focused on literacy and mathematics skills in the first two weeks in August.

Foundations (8th graders transitioning to HS)
Transition Program for 8th graders transitioning to HS
Students are identified at the building level (registration by invitation only)
This is a proactive program to assist students in transitioning to a big HS

½ days with a focus on ELA & MATH

Summer Melt Program (Graduating Seniors)
Provides support to our graduating seniors who have stated they are planning to attend college so we can ensure they are enrolled in the fall.
