Singing in a choir has been proven to release endorphins that reduce stress and anxiety levels. It also contributes to us having positive mental states. When you are feeling down after a long period of learning or going through a challenging activity, singing in a choir is the best choice you could have ever imagined doing – it gives you an emotional lift.

Studies also show that music promotes well-being that helps us perform our BEST characters. This is why BPK PENABUR Jakarta supports all the students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 by creating a choir competition that has been conducted since 2013. However, we canceled this event with regret due to the pandemic that struck the world in 2019. We are now coming back with a new design, promoting the schools to sing through the screen in their respective choirs.
