Submissions to Vernissage are accepted on a rolling basis. That means we are ALWAYS interested in your work! Please send your poems, short stories, articles, essays, and other written compositions to the editor and adviser. If you have artwork, please send a photo or image file, or write to us, and we'll contact you to make arrangements to get a publishable copy. Submissions are open to all students of Bethel Park High School.
Your submission will be reviewed by the appropriate editors and staffers. Within a month--usually less--you'll get a response as to whether your work will be published. It's that easy.
So start submitting--build your "published portfolio" and resume. Find readers. Tell your story. Share your poetic inspirations.
Membership is open to all Bethel Park High School Students. Periodic meetings are held after school in the Writing Studio, Room 212. Listen for announcements on Black Hawk TV or contact the editor-in-chief for dates of upcoming meetings. Or email the Editor-in-Chief or Adviser.
At meetings members read poems and stories, work on collections, review submissions, build the website, and plan printed publications.
Additionally, members create and seek out expression throughout the school that might contribute to our pages.
