Dear District 3 Learning Community:

As we look forward to the start of a new year, I want to introduce our District 3 Student Service Team. This year, we are pleased to have a new District Case Manager joining us in leading our important efforts within the District. Our team is honored to serve the District 3 community! Let me share more information about each of them.

Our new District Case Manager, Brianne Machak was a Special Education Teacher for 5 years here at Oak Crest School. She has transitioned into her administration role within our department seamlessly.

Mrs. Lissette Brito Lasiowski, Multilingual Supervisor is supporting the Dual Language Program while collaborating with our teachers, families, and students on a daily basis.

Mrs. Jan Schnettler is the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Student Services. In addition, Jan is our EC coordinator, Embrace administrator and McKinney-Vento Liaison.

Mrs. Alma Medrano is our EL Administrative Assistant. In addition, Alma is our district translator and BPAC coordinator.

Our Residency Investigator, Mr. Joe Zak aids in the safety and security of our district and families within the community in accord to the District approved residency guidelines. Staying in compliance is key to success.

District 3’s mission is to develop lifelong learners and productive citizens in partnership with the community. The Student Services Department is committed to ensuring this mission is first and foremost for all students in District 3. In addition, the Student Services Department is committed to forging a strong partnership with all parents, collaborating together to provide an appropriate educational program for each and every student, and keeping the lines of communication open.

We all look forward to continuing to support everyone in the learning community and engaging all our students in a positive educational experience.
