Important Notice Regarding Food Allergens

The Beach Park School District's Breakfast and Hot Lunch Programs are NOT peanut and tree nut free. Our vendor, Preferred Meals, does not guarantee that any of its items are produced in a plant that is peanut or tree nut free. Most items do not contain nuts of any kind, however, the production facility does process peanuts from time to time. If your student is allergic to peanuts or tree nuts, purchasing lunch is not advised. If your child has ANY other food allergies, please review each day’s menu and decide if it is safe for your child to eat breakfast or lunch for that day. If you, as the parent/guardian, decide that the menu is safe for your child on any given day, that decision is entirely your responsibility. Regarding alternatives due to food allergies, ONLY parents/guardians whose children have a life threatening allergen and who have completed a Physician Statement for Food Substitution form that is on file with the health office, will be provided an alternative meal.
