Kindness Cereal Challenge
Thank you to everyone who supported our Kindness Week Cereal Box Challenge. The cereal was donated to the Boyle FRYSC Food Pantry. Our students donated a total of 591 boxes! Preschool won the challenge with a total of 224 boxes.
Donuts with Grownups
We are looking forward to our upcoming Donuts with Grownups event! All students will participate on the date assigned to their specific grade level.
To help minimize disruptions to learning, students will not be pulled from other grade levels to attend the event on a different day. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to ensure a smooth experience for all students.
Counselor's Corner
It’s normal for kids to have BIG emotions in small bodies. Sometimes those feelings come out as tears, frustration, silliness, or even shutting down. Here at school, we focus on helping kids understand that all feelings are welcome, but not all behaviors are.
At home, you can support emotional growth by:
Validating first: “I see you’re really upset.”
Staying calm (even when they’re not).
Teaching replacement behaviors (deep breathing, taking space, asking for help).
Praising effort: “I noticed you calmed your body down. That was responsible!”
When children feel safe expressing emotions, they build confidence, resilience, and stronger relationships.
*Screenings are for students who will be in Kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year.
