My name is Nicole Reifsnyder and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year! I can't wait to learn all about you, but first here are a few things about me.
I grew up in Pennsylvania, and attended college at Ball State University in Indiana, where I studied Elementary Education and played field hockey. Since receiving my Elementary Education Degree in 2008 I have gone on to earn my Master's Degree in Education and Reading Specialist Certificate from Cabrini University and am currently in pursuit of my ESL (English as a Second Language) Program Specialist Certification.
This will be my fourteenth year teaching at Gilbertsville. For the last thirteen years I have been teaching kindergarten. This year will be my first year teaching first grade. Before coming to Boyertown I had taught kindergarten and first grade for three years in the Reading School District. That means this year I will start my 17th year of teaching.
I live in the Reading area with my husband, Ben, and our two sons Parker and Hudson.
