We still go outside if it's raining or snowy. In fact, the inclement weather makes it even more fun--moody and dramatic. And we love the snow. Nothing like a good tumble down a hill when there's good snow (or ice!) on the ground. We will not be outside if it is a lightning situation or if administration has cancelled all after school activities.
We do ask that participants are prepared for the weather. We go outside even if it's 10-degrees out. Proper footwear, headwear, and gloves are required at all times; if you do not have proper clothing, you will not be participating.

Homecoming Bonfire: Every year we host some sort of activity during the bonfire. We've had jousting, archery, and little glow in the dark items for sale.
Haunted Hallway: During the yearly town of Bow Halloween Party at the High School, Hood and Jesses puts on a "Haunted Hallway." Meant for the little kids, we take over the science wing and set up a variety of rooms for kids and their parents to explore. Rooms often include: Alien autopsy room with jars of weird stuff, an alien, and bowls of gushy alien parts; mad scientists and their experiments with dry ice and sometimes fire; a "spa" where kids can get their faces painted, hair colored, nails done, and sometimes more; a dance party room where kids can dance to their favorite Halloween songs; and a game room where kids can play various Halloween-themed games.
BHS Olympics: During our spirit week, Hood and Jesses sponsors a joust. The winner then usually gets to try to defeat Mr. Dixon.
MEGADAY: This is the climax, the finale, the big shebang! Our ongoing story for the year is wrapped up--not always in a victorious way either! We play from 3pm to 10pm. The last couple of years, Bedford High School's LARP team has joined us. We play a competitive melee round at some point, and that school takes home the Trophy Sword for another year. There's food, fun and festivities.
