-Small facts about all Eyes-
Eyes don’t need much to survive. At most they need rest and occasionally some energy to absorb. An Eye on full charge could last a hundred years floating through space
Eyes struggle to come up with completely unique new ideas. They can improve on ideas and rework things but original thoughts are rare.
The Eyes have a quite large population.
The Monarch created each type of eye for different purposes to help it make a society from the hollow, ash covered shell of the planet.
Reno’s last civilization left it used up and broken but the Monarch used Its knowledge of the world and what the humans did before it to help build and sustain a new Society.
Most of the eyes don’t have strong emotions or feelings. That’s one of the reasons why there has never been any group of them that tried to leave the Monarch Eye. The Monarch built the eyes as the perfect tool to create its world.
The eyes do have distinct personalities and aren’t being forced to serve the Monarch. But the Monarch told them what to do and they followed their creators' guides. If an eye is told not to do something by a rank higher than them then most of them will never disobey.
Opposed to what many might think, the Eyes are not completely robotic. Because the planet was so incredibly bare of life when the Monarch was created, one of the first things the monarch did was to create a way for organic and robotic life to combine and evolve together. Not only did this help the Monarch grow and become more intelligent but It was also applied to almost every Eye made after that. There are rumors that the first hundred Minor Eyes were completely robotic and all broke down…or at least most of them.
A similar technology was later used to create minerals and fuel that grow like plants. This allowed the Eyes to continue to harvest and build a civilization from the ashes of the last one.
The Minor Eyes were the first created by the Monarch. Used to lay down a strong foundation and build infrastructure, they are tough and hard working.
They were sent out across the planet to find the last precious resources. They built the first factories and created almost everything you can find on Reno.
Many died while building the new world from the ground up but they are still quite strong and difficult to completely destroy.
They are incredibly resistant to the heat and cold, water resistant, and can survive in intense pressures. Their body’s can adapt to almost any gravity and function relatively the same.
The most important part of them is their head. If the head of the Eye is damaged then it can be extremely difficult to repair, and in most cases it results in death. In most cases every other part of the Minor Eyes can be replaced and changed out for specific professions.
The Median Eyes were made to help design the new world and manage the other Eyes. As the Eye population grew the Monarch knew that It couldn’t manage and keep track of all the Minor Eyes. The Median Eyes took instructions from the Monarch and organized thousands of Minor Eyes at once. With their help the new world started expanding and growing rapidly.
The Median Eyes were also used as researchers and scientists because their incredible processing speed allowed them to collect and use massive amounts of data.
Despite Their small numbers, The Median Eyes are one of the most important parts of the Eye society. With the help of added processors and a communication network, a single Median Eye can now command hundreds of thousands of Minor Eyes.
But unlike the Minor Eyes, the median eyes are quite fragile and weak, making them not good for most other tasks.
The Major Eyes were the last of the Eyes to be created. They were made for a very specific purpose…war.
The Monarch realized that one of the many reasons the humans that lived on Reno died was because of war. The humans fought for land and for their beliefs. In the end they destroyed what made those things important, their world and each other.
The Monarch did not wish to expand and destroy life on other planets but It knew that some societies might. The Monarch’s knowledge on the old human world showed that peace was rarely a reliable option and war brought only more war.
The monarch prepared for both options.
Massive destructive weapons were made and Median Eye researchers came up with many peaceful solutions. The Monarch decided to avoid the colonization of any other world but made the Major Eyes to protect its own.
The Major eyes were designed to be powerful. They are excellent fighters and extremely difficult to kill. They are self repairing and made tougher than any of the other Eyes.
The Eyes have never had a war so most of the Major Eyes are used for large projects and builds that require a great amount of strength. They do not play a very crucial role in the Eye society but are treated with higher respect and were used to expand the Monarch’s new world to unimaginable heights.

Stringlets are a type of parasitic organism made of, on average, hundreds of string like fibers and appendages that reproduces asexually.
The species is estimated around 12 million years old. The Lace Leviathan's age is estimated around 14,000 to 26,000 years old. Assuming that, like human society, they started around 10,000 years ago, then that would mean at the absolute very least, the Lace Leviathan spent 3,000, or 16,000 years just feasting on whatever large species was found in the oceans.
We know for certain that she alone caused the extinction of the Leviathan species that shared the planet with her over an extended period of time as evidenced by the bones at the bottom of the 82,000 m deep oceans dating back to, at the very least, 11,000 years ago. This means that the Lace Leviathan alone as a single creature that had not yet begun its process of asexual reproduction in order to make more of itself had managed to completely eradicate the Apex predator of the entire planet.
It was only after severely endangering this other species that it started to reproduce at an extreme rate. In order for this process to occur at all, it needs to sacrifice part of itself in order to reproduce properly. This means that at current day, the 45 foot Lace Leviathan was much bigger than it is now when it was consuming. The estimated height at its peak is 94 to 114 feet. In the current day, the Lace Leviathan is the head of the Stringlet population and society, standing at about 45,000 strong. It is estimated that 85% of all Stringlets come directly from the Lace Leviathan while the remaining 15% comes from the asexual reproduction process independent of the Lace Leviathan.
The fact that over the extended period of time their society has had there have been next to no large conflicts between them show how high functioning their society is despite their relatively new the society is estimated to be about the same age that humanity would be if they were still living.
