Hello, Wildcats! I am excited to be your history teacher this year! I am passionate about helping students engage with history and the social sciences because I believe understanding the past and the world around us helps us better understand ourselves and the communities we are part of. By studying the experiences, choices, and challenges of those who came before us, we can better understand the world we live in today and recognize our own ability to shape what comes next. My goal is to foster curious, critical thinkers who can thoughtfully evaluate information, understand diverse perspectives, and use what they learn to make meaningful contributions to their communities and help create a better future. Most importantly, I strive to create a positive and inclusive classroom where every student feels welcomed, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. I look forward to learning, exploring, and growing together this year!
