Meet Mrs. Esparza

Hello...and welcome to our class.  You're going to find that fifth grade is a wonderful year filled with  memorable activities.  I would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself.  I was born and raised in Orange County.  I attended California State University, Fullerton where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD certificate. I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine.  This will be my 26th year teaching.  During that time, I've taught kindergarten through 5th grade.  I really enjoy teaching and working with children of all ages.  Each year brings something new and exciting, and I look forward to watching my students as they mature and grow academically and socially.  When not in the classroom, I enjoy camping, taking pictures, and spending time with my family and dog.  My husband and I can usually be found on a soccer or football field cheering on our three boys (ages 13, 21, and 23).  I'm looking forward to working together to make this year an amazing one.
