PTA funds essential school resources and curriculum needs, including investments in technology, the arts, and science programming.
Every year Lyndon PTA gives each of the 40+ teachers a grant that they can use to fund critical needs within their classroom.
The PTA financially supports the Lyndon library to ensure students have access to quality books and a welcoming space, including securing a $50k grant to renovate in 2018.
In 2019, in partnership with Friends of the Lyndon, the PTA purchased a new guided reading library at the request of Mrs. Tunney and the lower school teachers.
In 2020 and 2021 the PTA purchased IXL Personalized Learning software to aid students within SAR classes in their remote learning experience.
The PTA sponsors the Outdoor Classroom to enable study of and within nature.
National PTA funds the nation's largest and longest running student arts program, Reflections®, which provides students access to arts, music, literature, dance, drama, and visual arts.
